Experience plan: still ¥2,980, no photos or hair

The published price of our experience plan is still 2,980 yen, tax included. The plan states that it does not include photography or hair styling. The price page has not changed; this note only restates where the line sits.

Three things need to be kept apart: renting the kimono, doing your hair, and taking photographs. The experience price covers only the first. If you count the other two inside 2,980 yen, it will not match what is confirmed on the day.

What this plan covers

The experience plan is offered at 2,980 yen, tax included. If a woman wants hair styling in the same booking, the published price is 5,980 yen. The men's plan is 3,980 yen. A couple, two people, is 7,980 yen, hair not included.

Premium starts at 6,980 yen. Luxury furisode starts at 9,800 yen, tax included; the page marks it as a reference price, and availability still has to be confirmed separately. Premium couple starts at 9,980 yen for two, tax included. Higher tiers are grouped by their published starting price, not guessed from a shop name.

What this means

If you only want to change into a kimono and walk around Kyoto, the experience plan is enough. If you want hair styling or finished photos, move your budget to the matching plan or book photography separately. Photography is not a Kimono Kyoto service; JLP PHOTO handles it, and the details are at jlp.net/en/kimono.

The shop address is still unpublished, and the shop is not pinned on any map. The floor and lane entrance are confirmed on arrival. Korean pages are for reading only; the languages spoken at the shop are Chinese, English and Japanese.

What to check next

The figures on the plans page are the ones that count. If the page and this note disagree, follow the plans page. Furisode sizes and availability for your day are confirmed when you book; nothing is held by this note.

The Kodaiji-area and Eikando photos in the gallery are JLP client samples. They are not experience-plan stock, and they cannot be used to work out the rental price of that outfit.
